ALBANY, GA. -- Although analysts have been predicting gas prices to soar this weekend, prices in our area are dipping low.

According to AAA, the current price of regular gasoline in southwest Georgia is $3.22.

That’s over 20 cents less than a month ago.

Gas prices as low as $3.13 have also been spotted at several locations around town.

Local gas station owners say they can't predict when the prices will go up, so drivers should take advantage of the prices now.
