ALBANY, GA -- The holiday season is just around the corner, and that means so is Toys for Tots.

Marines at MCLB Albany kicked off this year’s campaign Friday. This year they are aiming high, hoping to donate 40,000 toys to 7,500 kids in the community. But they need help.

“You can donate one unwrapped toy up to $15 to a collection bin you may see throughout the local community. Most visible spots are the mall, Wal-Mart, local churches and banks,” said Gunnery Sgt. Kenneth Starkey.

For families that wish to see if they're eligible for the Toys for Tots program they can sign up at the Salvation Army starting Monday until November 4 or by visiting the Albany Toys for Tots website.
