Show based on the life of Reverend Samuel B. Wells.

ALBANY, GA. -- The Albany Civil Rights Institute is sponsoring a play based on the life of a Civil Rights legend.

The show, Deep Wells, chronicles the story of Reverend Samuel B. Wells. He’s known as a leader of the southwest Georgia movement.

Albany State University Professor Emeritus Curtis Williams wrote the play and will perform the role of Wells.

The performance is set for Thursday August 25th, 2011. Tickets are on sale for $10.
