ALBANY, GA -- Marine First Sgt. James Watson and Doug McClure of the Salvation Army were out at the Albany mall Friday night to kick off the Toys for Tots and Red Kettle drive

Center court was jam-packed with kids and their families. They were treated to entertainment provided by the Albany Marine Corps Band and were given the opportunity to donate a new unwrapped gift to Toys for Tots.

Santa and Mrs. Claus made their grand entrance at the mall. Santa helped get things started by donating to the Red Kettle drive as well as Toys for Tots.

Santa even worked a little of his magic and treated kids to a light snowfall.
