ALBANY, GA -- ADICA is trying to figure out what to do with the downtown skate park.

The board thought they had backer to takeover and run the park, but he has since backed out.

Members say they want to keep the park open at least throughout the summer

“Our next step is to continue to keep the park open and to continue to serve the citizens and the community and to make a decision about whether they can find someone else to do this or if they want to get out of the skate park business,” said interim ADICA CEO James Taylor.

The recreation and parks will temporarily takeover the park but if someone cannot be found to manage it by the end of the summer it may have to be closed down.
