Mrs. DeLois Long Minter, of Albany and Milbrook, AL died Wednesday, Dec 12, 2012.
Her funeral service will be 12:30 PM Saturday (today) at Kimbrell-Stern. Rev. Carrie Myers will officiate.
A native of Rutledge, AL, Mrs. Minter had lived in Albany for 22 years before moving to Milbrook, AL. She worked at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and was preceded in death by her husbands, Walter Long and Reginald Minter.
Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Long Cavan (Bryan), Newnan; sons, Richard Long (Faye), Plains, GA, Dr. Walter K. Long, Philadelphia, PA, Jerry Long (Merilee), Alpharetta; grandchildren, Michael Cavan (Candace), Sean Cavan (Chris), Ashley Cavan Ratliff (Brent), Piper Long Clark (Mike); great grandchildren, Zach Ratliff, Nicholas Ratliff, Will Ratliff, Jake Cavan, Alex Cavan, Chandler Cavan, Caroline Ratliff; brother, Joe Killough, Huntsville, Al; sister in law, Helen Price, Albany, brothers in law, William Long (Eunice), Albany, James Long, Albany and numerous nieces and nephews.
