Monday, April 08, 2013  The Dougherty County School Board received an evaluation of both Monroe High and Dougherty Comprehensive High School’s math departments during their meeting on Monday night, and although they called the presentation brutally honest, they also say it was needed.

Friday, March 29, 2013  Updated with video; In Wednesday’s Dougherty County School Board meeting, the board voted unanimously to approve payments of $60,000 a month to the Water Gas and Light Commission.

Monday, March 11, 2013  With 1/3 of the cameras on the Dougherty County School System's buses not working, the school board unanimously voted to upgrade 40 of their fleet with working DVR’s during Monday evening’s board meeting. They say the $67,600 purchase is necessary for stopping incidents on the bus.
