ALBANY, GA. --

Hundreds of people partied in downtown Albany at the fifth annual 'Turkey Jam' held at the Albany State Theater on Pine Avenue.

This year’s proceeds for the event will go to the Georgia Music Foundation.

The foundation gives money to schools to help provide children with musical instruments.

Country music sensation Dallas Davidson and his band headlined the event.

FOX 31 caught up with the singer before he hit the stage.

“It's going to be a good show. You'll get your money's worth and it all goes to a good cause. I'm going to play all my hits and some other stuff,” said Dallas Davidson, Academy of Country Music Songwriter of the Year.

After the show Davidson planed to head home to spend Thanksgiving with his family.
