The City of Albany is looking over three proposals right now for a new arena football team.

The proposals were received by the Friday deadline. Business owner Peter Studl, the Arena Football One League and the Southern Indoor Football League have submitted proposals. Studl says his team should be chosen because of his experience being a minority owner with the South Georgia Wildcats team, as well as the fact that he will offer more exposure of team members, and give the team more of a local flavor.

Assistant City Manager Wes Smith says City officials will review the proposals and the City Commission will begin reviewing them at their Tuesday meeting October 6th.
