The MCLB prepares for a huge Fourth of July celebration

The Marine Corps Logistics Base wants to celebrate the birth of our country with the community.
The base has an exciting day planned for Southwest Georgians. On Thursday, July second, the Marine Corps Logistics Base will be throwing quite a patriotic celebration. The day will include food vendors, bouncy houses for kids, the Fort Benning Silverwings jump team and the Albany Marine Band. Festivities begin at four p.m. and run through ten that evening. There are a few safety precautions that need to be taken. Visitors are not permitted to bring coolers or contraband.
Last year over 10,000 people attended the free event, and event organizers expect even more this year. Marines say there is no better way to celebrate the fourth.
