One of the most anticipated movies of the summer is showing in Albany

A special screening of Star Trek took place in Albany last night, but many are expected to flood the theater this weekend. Friday, the first show started at 1:20 pm. Here’s what some of the Trekkies thought about the latest edition of Star Trek.
“I’m not even a Star Trek fan, but I thought it was awesome.”
“I thought it was great. They really captured the essence of Star Trek. It wasn’t like Star Trek Nemesis.”
“I thought the casting was real good.”
“I’d give it an eight, I don’t think it would earn a ten.”
“I wouldn’t change anything about it. I liked how they did Enterprise, they made it modern and up to date.”
“As far as Star Trek series goes, I’d probably say it’s the best one.”
“Live long and prosper.”
