Board chairman Jeanette Henderson says their volunteers make all the difference
Keep Albany Dougherty Beautiful has won a prestigious award and shared their success with the Dougherty County Commission Monday.
Director Judy Bowles announced they won first place in the Keep *Georgia* Beautiful, where they competed with all the other communities in the state. Board chairman Jeanette Henderson says they couldn't have done it without their volunteers.
“People take their time, volunteer their time, their efforts to make sure that our city and our community is certainly a clean place to live,” Said Henderson Monday.
They also won third place in the nation.
