All Albany law enforcement agencies are teaming up to monitor sex offenders on Halloween

Each agency has a certain number of sex offenders they will monitor with phone calls and personal visits to make sure no children are trick or treating at their home.

Dougherty County Sheriff Kevin Sproul says if officials catch a sex offender giving candy to children they will be arrested and could possibly go back to prison because of the violation.
