Romney Smith joined FOX 31 in August 2009, and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond and a master’s degree from the University of Maryland.
Darton College students use a band competition to encourage a food drive
The event brought together six bands who challenged their fans to donate canned food items. The band who raised the most food won a cash prize.
Darton College Professor Roger Marietta says the real prize is knowing that students can have fun and have a food drive and help the community.
More than 1,000 cans of food were collected at the event.
