Organizers want to keep kids off drugs
The Albany Recreation and Parks Department hosted its “Red Ribbon Week” celebration today.
The event took place at the Carver Sports Complex, where kids turned out to learn about healthy lifestyles; specifically about keeping drugs out of their lives. The Dougherty County Sheriff’s Department and the Albany Fire Department also showed up to show their support.
Nearly 50 children participated.
