Dean Phinazee will be running for the district 6 seat on the Dougherty County School Board.
The district 6 seat is currently held by Michael Windom. Phinazee, a retired teacher, ran against Windom in 2006.
Phinazee retired in 2005 from Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School and taught in the Dougherty County School System for 23 of his 35 years as a classroom educator.
