Improving the graduation rate the number one goal

Superintendent of Schools Kathy Cox spoke to the Albany Rotary Club today.

She talked about six goals educators are working on to improve Georgia’s schools; improving the graduation rate the number one goal.  Cox also gave updates and praised certain schools for recent achievements.

Georgia is one of only five states that require students to complete four years of math and science to receive a high school diploma.
