The “Teen Driving Safety 101” website is aimed at teen drivers and their parents.

According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, more than 4,000 teenagers died in motor vehicle crashes in 2008.  The new website is aimed at getting teens the information they need in an outlet easy to access.

Georgia Department of Transportation Communication Specialist Monica Luck says the website is a one stop shop for information related to teen drivers.  “Teens can get information on permit and license information, driving laws specifically aimed at their age group, safety tips and more” says Luck.

The website was developed in partnership with the Georgia Department of Driver Services, Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, and Riverdale High School’s Technology Team.

www.HowsMyTeenDriving.org has a solution to these issues. For a small fee you get a bumper sticker with an 800 number just like the ones we see on commercial vehicles. Call is immediately placed to parents to react right then.
