Shoes from the HEART
The HEART Organization’s Shoes from the HEART initiative is pleased to announce the distribution of 500 pair of new athletic shoes to some very special children in the Dougherty County School System. Shoes from the HEART helps promote: physical activity, participation in athletic programs, and personal development (self-esteem, confidence). This marks our 5th year and our 6th distribution, totaling over 1,900 pairs of new shoes being distributed. Five Schools will receive 100 pairs each: Jackson Heights, Turner, North-side, Magnolia, International Studies.
