Mrs. Della P. Parrish, 69, 1318 Sharon Dr, died Saturday, October 24, 2009 at her residence.
Her funeral service will be Tuesday 11 AM at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors with interment in Floral Memory Gardens. Minister Doug Haught to officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 6 to 7:30 PM at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors.
A native of Leslie, Mrs. Parrish was retired from J. L. Malone and Associates and Secretary-Treasure and also had worked with Life of Georgia Insurance Company. She was a graduate of Albany High School and was a member of Beattie Road Church of Christ we she was involved in the Prison Correspondence Course Ministry, Ladies Bible Study, Senior Fellowship. Mrs. Parrish was a volunteer at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and Palmyra Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her father James Aaron Pollock.
Survivors include her husband Orville Parrish, Albany; her mother, Walter Mae Pollock, Albany; sisters, Ann Bliss and her husband Bucky, Americus, Jamie Farmer, Albany and nieces and nephews.
