The Agricultural Museum and Historic Villiage in Tifton is a great day trip back in time. This 95 acre site is home to over thirty five structures all restored or preserved representing a historic village in Georgia in the late1800’s. Now no one actually lives there but this village is far from a ghost town. Historic interpreters dressed in period costumes bring this town to life. These residents enthusiastically share history while demonstrating the workings of the town. Many different activities are on display and a lot of this town is also hands on which adds to the enjoyment.
