Chris Nisinger Morning & “Good Day” Meteorologist
School: Mississippi State University Hometown: Alton, IL
Chris Nisinger, a native of Alton, Illinois, near St. Louis, Missouri, came to southwest Georgia in 1998 from Misssissippi State University. Chris has been providing forecasts for Southwest Georgia for over ten years. He is the FOX 31 News “Good Day” Meteorologist. Chris has enjoyed chasing storms throughout the South and midwest, as well as forecasting some the biggest storms in Southwest Georgia over the last ten years. Chris enjoys lots of other outdoor activities; including baseball, football, the occasional golf game, and fishing. Chris, his wife Sara, their son Brandon, and dog Hershey are happy to call Leesburg and Southwest Georgia home.
