Chris Nisinger, a native of Alton, Illinois, near St. Louis, Missouri, came to southwest Georgia in 1998 from Misssissippi State University.

He has been providing forecasts for southwest Georgia for about the last ten years.

He is now the weekend meteorologist, and newest member of the FOX 31 Weather Team.

Chris has enjoyed chasing storms throughout the South and midwest, as well as forecasting some the biggest storms to effect southwest Georgia over the last ten years.

Chris enjoys an erray of other outdoor activities; including baseball, football, the occasional golf game, and fishing.

Chris, his wife Sara, their son Brandon, and dog Hershey are happy to call Leesburg and southwest Georgia home.
