Originally from Baltimore, MD. Courtney ventured south for college and graduated from the University of Alabama in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications and Film and a double minor in Psychology and Communication Studies. While in college Courtney was a reporter and producer for WVUA-TV, a local news station in Tuscaloosa. Courtney joined the WFXL news team January 2013 and is very excited to be staying in the south for a while longer. Courtney enjoys watching college and NFL football. Her favorite teams are the Crimson Tide and the Baltimore Ravens. When she’s not working she loves spending time outside with her two dogs. She has a Shih-Tzu named Macy and a Golden Retriever named Max. Courtney is excited to call Albany her new home and is looking forward to getting to know the area and the people who live here.
