Chief Engineer
WFXL is seeking an experienced television management professional to join its staff. The successful candidate will need to be a hands on leader possessing strong skills in all areas of digital broadcast maintenance, including transmitter operations, news/studio/multiple channel master control functions, Internet/mobile platforms, station infrastructure design, strong news operational support as well as building management.
Experience:
Previous television experience required.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of technical TV broadcasting equipment (including cameras, routing equipment and production switchers)
Knowledge of broadcast automation systems and thorough understanding of PC hardware and software operations
Strong troubleshooting skills and have the ability to work independently and quickly in high-pressure situations.
Must be flexible - schedule will include evenings, nights and weekends.
